Position Summary:

As a Process Engineer at Synapse-ITS, your primary focus will be on refining production techniques and ensuring comprehensive product documentation to elevate operational efficiency and product quality. You will be instrumental in spearheading continuous improvement projects aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply continuous improvement methodologies to enhance manufacturing quality and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and uphold precise time standards for various manufacturing operations.
  • Perform routine evaluations to pinpoint opportunities for process advancements.
  • Design and implement streamlined production workflows to reduce waste.
  • Identify and introduce innovative solutions and cost-reduction strategies in the production line.
  • Facilitate training sessions on process optimization and equipment usage.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Manage maintenance tasks and address mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Evaluate production expenses and timelines to support informed decision-making.
  • Promote safety-first practices in all manufacturing processes and work to eliminate unsafe practices.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in CAD software and control systems.
  • Knowledgeable in Lean, Six Sigma, and TPS methodologies.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting.
