As a Manager II Behavioral Health Psychology, you will be responsible for overseeing a medium-sized group or program, with both administrative and client caseload responsibilities. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement budget recommendations to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide counseling and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Oversee the allocation of resources and personnel management responsibilities.
- Design and operate programs within the unit, ensuring access outcomes and resource allocation.
- Participate in regional committees to drive strategic initiatives.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience under the direction of a licensed psychologist or board-certified psychiatrist.
- Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or university.
- Psychologist License (California) and National Provider Identifier required at hire.
- Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and APA standards related to client treatment, patient rights, and confidentiality.
- Previous clinical responsibilities, including psychological testing, diagnosis, crisis intervention, and brief individual and group psychotherapy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
