About the Job

The Quality Support Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining the color master program and supporting Standard Operating Conditions (SOC) and inspection methods. This position requires a strong understanding of quality control processes and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support R&D trials for new product development and improvements
  • Maintain FPI database
  • Update FPI documents for new and revised products
  • Maintain inventory of Master color samples and working standards
  • Under direction of Engineers, update work instructions and train others on product and process inspections
Requirements
  • 4 years' experience in plastic extrusion operations or technical role
  • Moderate proficiency with database systems
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extrusion Operation and/or Maintenance experience
  • Experience with documented problem solving events
  • Experience with gages and test equipment
  • American Society of Quality Certified Quality Technician or related
  • Experience with Excel VBA
