About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and physically capable Warehouse Order Picker to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and efficient selection and delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely and accurately select customer orders from warehouse inventory
  • Build and wrap pallets to meet productivity and accuracy standards
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks and operate electric pallet jacks safely
  • Move products from racks to pallets using order selecting software and equipment
  • Validate product selection and ensure damage-free products
  • Deliver products to correct dock area and shrink wrap palletized orders
  • Team up to clear aisles of debris, stack empty pallets, and return pallet jacks to charging area
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment (-5 degrees to over 100 degrees)
  • Comfortable lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively
  • Ability to read and communicate in English for trainings, conversations, and safety coaching
  • Available to work 8+ hour night shifts, typically Sunday - Thursday
  • Recent experience in high endurance or highly physical activity (e.g. lifting/transferring patients, sports/fitness, farming, construction work)
  • Experience selecting large scale orders in a warehouse or distribution center environment
  • Experience operating motorized pallet jack or similar equipment
