Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN to join our healthcare team at HCA Florida West Hospital. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will assist credentialed physicians in the performance of endoscopic procedures to diagnose, care, and treat patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, ensuring timely interventions as needed.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of patient education programs, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required.
  • BLS-American Heart Association BLS Provider issued card required.
  • ACLS-American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required.
  • Acute care experience required; previous endoscopy experience preferred.
  • CGRN certification preferred.
