Diesel Mechanic

At TravelCenters of America, we're committed to providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Diesel Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers' trucks are running smoothly and efficiently.

As a member of our Truck Service team, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of customers and vehicles, from semi-trucks to RVs. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks.

• Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and heavy-duty trucks
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
• Work with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions

This role requires regular standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. You'll also be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons and may be required to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You'll be working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction. You'll be exposed to fumes and particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level can be loud at times.
