Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager Opportunity

Intertek-PSI is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager to join our Building & Construction team in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

About the Role:

  • Perform a variety of geotechnical assignments, including field logging and soil laboratory work.
  • Conduct geotechnical report writing and review project plans and specifications.
  • Attend client site meetings and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.
  • Work on one or multiple projects simultaneously and may perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to safety practices and policies to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited/ABET school.
  • 2+ years of geotechnical engineering or construction materials testing experience.
  • PE certification preferred, with the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Knowledge and experience in engineering software, such as GeoStudio and APILE, are preferred.
  • Effective communication skills and solid interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work off-shift and overtime as needed, with occasional travel up to 10%.
