Job Overview

Resource Informatics Group Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to lead our data engineering and ETL projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for architecting and developing ETL solutions, mentoring junior staff members, and ensuring development standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver ETL solutions by collaborating with business users, architects, and understanding business requirements
  • Design and develop technical and business solutions using Informatica Power Center, SQL Server, and other data development tools
  • Coordinate and work with offshore developers to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop technical solutions that meet business needs, including SQL stored procedures, views, Informatica workflows, and Control-M flows
  • Mentor junior staff members in database engineering and guide them in setting expectations and monitoring progress
  • Identify opportunities to create efficiencies in technical work streams and operational procedures

Requirements:

  • Informatica Power Center
  • SQL and stored procedure development in MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • Enterprise Job Schedulers, preferably with Control-M

Nice to Have:

  • Informatica Data Quality
  • PowerShell and Python scripting
  • Big Data technologies
