Job Summary

Raleigh General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Charge Nurse in the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for providing critical care to patients with complex medical conditions, including cardiac and respiratory issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administration of medications, monitoring of vital signs, and implementation of treatment plans.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current registered nurse licensure in the state of West Virginia.
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse in a critical care setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
