Key Responsibilities:

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead special projects to address new data center challenges, driving innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Energy Management Systems team to develop and integrate power and controls data.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with contractors, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with good initiative and sound judgment to make independent decisions.
  • Good understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment, including transformers, air handling units, cooling towers, pumping, and cooling systems.
  • Strong background in HVAC Control Systems and Mechanical operation, ensuring a solid foundation.
  • Good understanding of safety requirements for operating a multi-megawatt facility, prioritizing safety.
  • Strong understanding of Building Automation Systems, including programming, graphic functions, control logic, and alarming capabilities.
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and customer service skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to ensure accurate interpretation.
  • Experience in common business applications (i.e., Microsoft Suite: Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) to efficiently manage tasks.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience installing and maintaining building management architectures for HVAC and/or Power, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
