Job Summary: In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery that transforms raw plastic materials into finished products. The process begins with granulated plastic entering a hopper, where it is melted and shaped into a tube. This tube is then molded into various container shapes using pressurized air and cooled to solidify. The facility emphasizes sustainability by reusing excess plastic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adjust and troubleshoot machinery, performing repairs when possible, and coordinating with maintenance for complex issues.
- Adhere to company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality.
- Assist in mold changes and machine setups to optimize production efficiency.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify that products meet specified standards, including visual assessments and measurements.
- Collaborate with fellow operators and maintenance personnel to resolve mechanical challenges.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
- Complete necessary documentation accurately, both in paper and digital formats.
