Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse

The Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse is a key member of our perioperative services team, providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ambulatory surgical center environment.
This role requires a skilled and compassionate nurse who can provide safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations.
Responsibilities- Provide quality patient care using the nursing process, medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of USPI.
- Collaborate with the perioperative services team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and new technologies.
- Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- At least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
- Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.
- Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing patient conditions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
