Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Project Manager to lead our manufacturing projects from approval through hyper care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, manufacturing processes, and equipment technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple manufacturing projects simultaneously utilizing contemporary project management tools and practices.
  • Coordinate and influence cross-functional partners from engineering, operations, finance, HR/EHS, procurement, quality, commercial, IT, and risk management.
  • Develop and facilitate project plans, progress trackers, status reporting, and cadences.
  • Manage deliverables as defined in the project's scope and monitor project progress and adjust as needed to meet deadlines and project goals.
  • Lead project meetings, including scheduling and developing meeting agendas and managing meeting notes and follow-up items.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate communication regarding project status and deliverables is provided to project stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance project team environment that promotes a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and implement improvements for future projects.
  • Use tools to digitize and organize work, such as the Microsoft suite of tools.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain industry, professional, and technical knowledge by networking, attending industry events, and reviewing professional publications.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, operations, supply chain, communication, or related field.
  • At least four years' prior project management experience required, preferably in a mid to large enterprise matrixed manufacturing organization.
  • PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
  • Primarily works in a manufacturing plant setting with a blend of on-site and flexible remote office work.
  • Overnight travel up to 50% of the time may be required with frequency dependent on project activities and deliverables.
