A currently enrolled nursing student providing a wide variety of services to patients under the direct supervision of nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Currently enrolled in a RN degree program, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (unofficial transcript required)
- Not on academic probation and in good standing with current nursing program
- Provide letter of recommendation from a nursing instructor
- Submit a 500-word essay identifying why they chose the field of nursing and how they apply the CHRISTUS Core Values to their individual practice
- Successfully completed both a "Fundamentals of Nursing" and at least one first-level Medical-Surgical course
- AHA BLS certification required
