Position Overview
This role presents an exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse to engage in a dynamic and high-stakes environment within a Level 2 trauma center. As a vital contributor to the healthcare team, you will deliver expert nursing care, evaluate patient requirements, and collaborate effectively to achieve optimal health outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing is mandatory.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required within five years for new graduates or nurses with less than one year of experience.
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license is essential.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at the time of hire or transfer.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within six months of hire or transfer. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required within one year, and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification within 15 months of hire or transfer.
- Specialty certification is highly encouraged within two years.
- Prior RN experience is preferred, but new graduates may be considered.
