RN - Acute Care Brain Injury Unit Nurse

As a Registered Nurse on our Brain Injury Unit at Sunnyview Rehab Hospital, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation process of our patients. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to individuals with brain injuries, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Assist individuals with brain injuries to attain and maintain maximum function, adapting to an altered lifestyle while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families. Design and implement treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care, promoting physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. Perform complex patient assessments and implement intensive interventions as needed.
Requirements:
New York State RN License, Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN Preferred. 1 Yr RN experience, Strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain the highest level of customer service while working in a fast-paced environment. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, Passion to learn, grow, and develop in the nursing field.
