As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential support to patients under the supervision of nursing professionals, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the standards of OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Respond to patient requests and assist with daily living activities such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Monitor and document patients' nutritional intake, including food and fluid consumption.
- Regularly check and record vital signs such as temperature and blood pressure, promptly reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
- Support nursing and medical staff during procedures and assist in wound care.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
- Certifications: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
- A valid CNA license in the state of employment is required.
Work Schedule:
- Weekend Option Day Shift
- Full-Time Position
