  • Respond swiftly to emergencies and disturbances as they arise.
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a vigilant presence within the facility and address feedback from staff members.
  • Assist with additional duties such as escorting individuals and managing information desk responsibilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of experience in security or military service is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent educational background.
  • Completion of a New York State approved security guard training program and possession of a valid security license.
  • Valid driver's license issued by New York State.
  • Understanding of substance abuse issues and awareness of signs of child abuse or neglect.
  • Training in crisis intervention and behavioral management techniques.

This position involves working hours from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of Saturday shifts. The role may require flexibility to work at various clinic locations and is funded through grants.
