We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Blue Bird Bus Sales of Pittsburgh. This is a full-time position with an estimated annual salary of $50,000-$60,000.
Job Description:As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on our fleet of buses. This includes oil changes, tune-ups, and other mechanical repairs. You will also be required to identify and repair any issues that may arise during your inspections.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain vehicles, including buses, cars, trucks, and heavy equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes and tune-ups.
- Identify and repair mechanical problems using computer diagnostic equipment.
- Examine critical parts and systems to ensure proper function.
- Test drive vehicles to confirm safe and proper operation.
What We're Looking For:
- Detailed knowledge of all aspects of vehicle repair.
- Excellent mechanical repair skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to read service and repair manuals.
- Proficient in computer diagnostic equipment, hydraulics, and software.
Requirements:
- Two years related experience.
- Commercial driver's license (willing to train).
- State inspection license/hydraulics.
- Vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in auto repair or related field.
