Cake Decorator Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cake Decorator to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods that meet the high standards of our customers.

• Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of bakery productions, maintain in-stock levels, and control shrinkage.
• Be an Expert Baker: Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs, following recipe measurement instructions, and working with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Be a Customer Service Champion: Provide exceptional customer service, assist members with purchasing decisions, and resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Be a Tech-Savvy Baker: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement, utilizing handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner of Quality: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards, eliminating waste, and preparing for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training to develop, influence, and inspire them to work in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team-oriented.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
