Electrical Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team at Chemours. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for electrical, controls, and power distribution systems across our Florida and Georgia operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support for electrical, controls, and power distribution systems to ensure safe and reliable operation.
  • Develop and implement electrical system designs, including motor control centers, switchgear, and protection relays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and develop projects to improve electrical system reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead commissioning, startups, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and review of electrical procedures, programs, and safe work practices.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical systems engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or mining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems, including motor control centers, switchgear, and protection relays.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with PLC systems, preferably Rockwell, and industry standards (NEC, ISA, etc.).
