As a Childcare Food Service Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children enrolled at See Me Grow Early Learning Academy. You will ensure that all meals and snacks are ready at designated times, adhering to the approved menu while following proper health and safety protocols. Compliance with federal CACFP standards will be essential, if applicable. Additionally, you may provide support in classrooms as needed. This role requires availability for Full-time shifts, which may include 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Qualifications:

  • Must fulfill state licensing requirements regarding education and experience.
  • Willingness to undergo training for food service certification.
  • Ability to be trained in CPR, Fire Safety, and Nutrition.
  • Must meet state background check criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency of kitchen appliances and work areas.
  • Serve and portion food for enrolled children and staff.
