Lead Tow Agent Job Description

McGee Air Services is seeking an experienced Lead Tow Agent to join our team at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. As a Lead Tow Agent, you will be responsible for directing the daily activities of the towing team, ensuring safe and efficient movement of aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and direct the towing team to achieve operational goals and timelines.
  • Coordinate aircraft movements, including towing and pushback operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain and service all tow ground equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with operations center, aircraft maintenance, and ramp tower.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Monitor and report on team performance and safety metrics.
Requirements:
  • 6+ months of recent experience in towing or aircraft movement.
  • Solid safety record.
  • 1+ years of ramp experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent basis.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Knowledge of operation of industrial equipment and previous experience preferred.
