We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cashier Lead to join our team at Lacoste. As a Cashier Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all activities surrounding the cash wrap, ensuring accurate processing of customer transactions, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the cash drawer and process customer and associate transactions accurately.
  • Develop a strong working knowledge of our computer systems to ring transactions, look up merchandise availability, and perform other necessary functions.
  • Capture customer name and address information for each transaction to compile clientele lists.
  • Answer telephones, respond to inquiries, and take merchandise orders.
  • Maintain the cash wrap in a neat and organized manner, keeping track of supply levels and notifying management when items need to be reordered.
  • Protect store assets and inventory through awareness of loss prevention procedures.
  • Assist with the implementation of visual directives, receipt of new merchandise, stocking, and replenishment of the selling floor.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a retail environment is a plus.
  • Good communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to provide prompt and courteous service to customers.
  • Computer skills, including retail point-of-sale software and Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, are necessary.
  • Must be a team player, outgoing, well-organized, and able to prioritize assigned tasks.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to multitask are essential.
