Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. You will work under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures to ensure accurate and efficient use of hospital computer systems for verifying orders, viewing schedules, and sending information to PAC's. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring equipment is wiped down and sanitized between patients and exam rooms are clean and properly stocked with linen and supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment
  • Work under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures
  • Ensure accurate and efficient use of hospital computer systems
  • Ensure equipment is wiped down and sanitized between patients
  • Ensure exam rooms are clean and properly stocked with linen and supplies

Requirements:
  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program
  • Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers from The American Heart Association and/or The American Red Cross at hire
