Position Overview:
Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a dedicated Travel RN for the Med/Surg Float Pool.

Shift Details:
- Nights: 7 PM to 7 AM
- Schedule: 12 shifts over 3 weeks, totaling 36 hours per week
- Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Contract Duration:
- 13 weeks

Qualifications:
- Valid WA Nursing License
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience
- Proficiency in General Med/Surg procedures including:
- Chest tubes
- Trach care
- PICC/Midlines/Central lines (RNs will manage central line collections as necessary)
- Foley catheters
- NG tubes
- Dressing changes
- Wound vacs
- Ostomy care
- Experience in Telemetry, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry is preferred

Certifications:
- BCLS required
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred

Additional Information:
- Patient Ratios: 1:5-6
- Float across all Medical/Surgical units in a 228-bed facility

Patient Demographics:
- Primarily adult patients, with pediatric experience accepted
- Post-surgical cases, strokes, oncology (no chemotherapy experience required), CHF, COPD, respiratory issues, GI issues, orthopedic (total joints), and COVID-19 cases
