Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to recipes and prepare food items as instructed, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish.

Prepare and season various food items, including soups, meats, and vegetables, while following proper cooking techniques and temperature guidelines. Identify and rectify any discrepancies in product quality and standards; organize and present cooked foods attractively.

Uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with Food Safety & Sanitation protocols, including maintaining the kitchen, walk-in refrigerator, freezer, and dry storage areas.

Ensure adherence to all safety and ServSafe requirements.
Supervise the proper care, storage, and cleaning of all kitchen tools and equipment.
Implement effective food rotation practices (e.g., label and date products, properly store perishables and leftovers).
Manage a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks while meeting time constraints.
Perform station duties (e.g., fry, griddle, flat top) in an engaging and entertaining manner.
Minimize waste and maintain controls to achieve projected food costs.

Communicate effectively with management, team members, and guests to address any concerns or needs.

Assist in menu development, food setup, and service.
Open and/or close the kitchen as required.
Execute basic arithmetic tasks.

Be a collaborative team member (e.g., work towards team objectives, foster a positive work atmosphere, support colleagues, and treat everyone with respect and kindness).

Maintain a courteous, positive, and professional relationship with all personnel and the public (e.g., coworkers, clients, and vendors).

Work efficiently under pressure; maintain regular attendance, including availability for odd hours, weekends, and holidays.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Follow instructions diligently.
