We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Practice Manager to lead and manage our exceptional team of staff. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of pediatric practice management and have a proven track record of success in overseeing clinical operations, administrative tasks, and patient relations.
Responsibilities- Billing and Scheduling Oversight: Establish and maintain efficient policies and procedures for scheduling, ensuring the integrity of the system. Implement effective communication channels between physicians and staff to address scheduling concerns. Oversee the process of obtaining necessary third-party payer referrals and authorizations prior to patient visits.
- Expense Processing and Tracking: Manage purchasing practices, invoice payments, and employee reimbursements in compliance with established policies. Review supporting documentation for accuracy and appropriateness. Monitor outstanding transactions and facilitate timely closure. Prepare purchase orders as needed and ensure adequate inventory of medical supplies.
- Supervisory Responsibility: Provide leadership and direction to the medical assistants and other practice staff. Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service. Participate in the hiring process, onboarding, and training of new team members. Manage staff assignments and activities, adhering to office policies and applicable regulations. Conduct monthly staff meetings and address any conflicts or disciplinary issues effectively.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role within a pediatric practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent command of the English language, including medical and scientific terminology.
- Strong decision-making abilities and excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
- Knowledge of organizational policies, procedures, and systems, as well as pediatric practice management principles.
