Position Summary: As a Hood Cleaning Technician, your primary responsibility will be to degrease kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ducts, filters, and fans. This role involves working in challenging conditions, but it is vital for maintaining a safe kitchen environment. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and pay close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage on-site equipment, ensuring proper setup and takedown for each assignment.
- Adhere to company standards with minimal oversight.
- Effectively handle and maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Complete necessary reporting and documentation accurately.
- Arrive punctually at job sites, follow safety protocols, and maintain focus throughout the workday.
- Be prepared to work in dirty conditions and handle greasy environments.
- Comfortably climb ladders and lift weights up to 50 lbs.
- Take pride in delivering quality results in straightforward tasks.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory.
- Must pass pre-employment background checks and substance abuse screenings.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and moving equipment exceeding 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work in various positions, including climbing and working in confined spaces.
