Choral Music Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Choral Conductor to lead our music program at The Choir School of Delaware. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing the music curriculum, planning and conducting rehearsals and performances, and establishing meaningful goals for the choral music program.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum for the academic year.
- Plan and conduct rehearsals and performances, including concerts and events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with music staff, students, and parents.
- Collaborate with the Young Artist Program Manager to plan and execute the Summer Musical Theater program.
- Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for students and staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Choral Conducting and/or Vocal Music Education.
- Three to five years of experience in the performing arts industry.
- Vocal pedagogy proficiency and experience working with under-served communities.
- Experience in non-profit organizations or academia is preferred.
- Master's degree in Choral Conducting and/or Vocal Music Education.
- Experience working with youth voice and developing music programs for under-served communities.
- A competitive annual compensation of $25,000.
