Anesthesia Technician

About the Role:

Anesthesia Techs play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures. As an Anesthesia Tech at AdventHealth, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, as well as assisting anesthesiologists and anesthetists during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare anesthesia machines and carts for surgical cases
• Order and stock anesthesia supplies
• Collect and process anesthesia data and insurance forms
• Assist anesthesiologists and anesthetists during procedures
• Support cost control initiatives

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One year of experience in direct patient care in a medical setting required
• Anesthesia Tech certification required within one year of hire
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification required
