Job Summary

As a Scaffold Builder at Brown & Root, you will be responsible for assembling and erecting scaffolding structures to support construction activities. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble scaffold components, including handrails, mid rails, and planks, to meet job specifications.
  • Brace forms in place with timbers, tie rods, and anchor bolts for use in building concrete piers, footings, and walls.
  • Secure scaffolding to permanent structures by tying.
  • Erect scaffolding for buildings and other structures and install ladders, handrails, walkways, platforms, and gangways.
  • Set and brace anchor bolts.
  • Inspect base surfaces for obstructions and ensure scaffolding is safely erected.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of scaffolding safety protocols and be able to work at heights. Physical stamina and attention to detail are also essential.
