Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our Women's Health department at TACOMA GENERAL HOSPITAL. In this critical role, you will provide expert care to pregnant women and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. To succeed in this position, you must possess a strong understanding of perinatal nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide direct patient care to pregnant women and newborns, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing procedures as needed.
2. Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatments administered.
