Position Summary:
The Maintenance Coordinator Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective execution of maintenance tasks across various disciplines. As a key member of our team, you will oversee documentation, communicate expectations to contractors, and lead safety meetings, embodying our core values and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contractor Schedule Review: Assess weekly schedules prior to and during work execution.
  • Resource Allocation: Modify resource assignments based on operational requirements, adhering to procurement guidelines.
  • Safety Performance Improvement: Conduct audits and provide constructive feedback to enhance safety practices and operational efficiency.
  • Job Package Enhancement: Collaborate with planning teams to refine job packages.
  • Technical Proficiency: Interpret P&ID's, isometric drawings, and piping specifications accurately.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Contribute to projects through effective teamwork and quality planning.
  • Task Documentation: Ensure the completion of tasks, proper closure of work orders, and submission of documentation.
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple projects and support concurrent activities.
  • Compliance with Internal Controls: Adhere to established processes and identify any deficiencies in internal controls.
  • Safe Work Execution: Guarantee the safe execution of routine and turnaround maintenance operations.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage various resources from different trades simultaneously.
  • EHS Participation: Engage in environmental, health, and safety programs.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: At least two years in the chemical or petrochemical sector, with expertise in areas such as:
    • Boilermaking/Pipefitting
    • Welding
    • Industrial Mobile Equipment Operation
    • Project/Construction Supervision
    • Planning for daily operations and projects
  • Availability: Flexibility to work occasional overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to lead and work effectively with others to achieve desired outcomes.
