Lead Teacher Role

At The Learning Experience, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for our children, while also guiding and mentoring our educators to ensure excellence in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Classroom Leadership: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of our children, while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Masterfully bring our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum to life, adapting your approach to meet the individual needs of our Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of our children at all times, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment.
  • Family Communication: Regularly update parents on their child's progress and milestones, utilizing a mix of mobile apps and in-person discussions.
  • Center Collaboration: Collaborate with center staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
  • Relationship Builder: Foster warm relationships with families and colleagues, creating an environment where learning and play coexist effortlessly.
Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role, with a High School Diploma or GED required. ECE coursework is preferred.
  • Experience: Extended experience in a childcare setting, with a history of classroom leadership roles. A deep-rooted passion for early childhood education is essential.
  • State Compliance: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role, including performance level, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training.
  • Caregiving Skills: Proven judgment to identify and address potential risks in a childcare setting, ensuring children's safety and everyday needs are met.
  • Physical Resilience: Demonstrates full range of motion to stand, walk, lift, and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds, with the ability to safely work in various temperatures.
