This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment, assisting with site clean-up and floor maintenance, and identifying and mitigating mine road hazards.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate rubber-tired dozers, haul trucks, and other heavy equipment
  • Assist with site clean-up and floor maintenance
  • Identify and mitigate mine road hazards
  • Maintain haul road berms and dig sets
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment

Requirements:

  • Have Mine Production Technician 1 and 2 skills
  • Safe and skilled operation of rubber-tired dozers
  • Safely operating equipment near production loading equipment
  • Assisting production loading equipment with site clean-up and floor maintenance
  • Identification and mitigation of mine road hazards
  • Drainage system management
  • Peer operator training
  • Maintain haul road berms
  • Maintain and rebuild dig sets
