Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Class A CDL driver to join our team of local and regional line drivers. As a driver for Oak Harbor Freight Lines, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods between terminals or meet points.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate tractor trailer combinations between terminals or meet points.
  • Adapt to challenging conditions such as inclement weather and various road conditions.
  • Meet the Company's reliability standard for employees.
  • Chain as needed and work in inclement weather.
  • Availability to work weekends and/or nights if needed.
Requirements
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
  • At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
  • Doubles/triples & chaining experience is preferred but not required.
  • Valid DOT Medical Certification.
  • Clean driving record with no DUI, reckless driving, or positive drug/alcohol screen in the last 3 years.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, co-workers, and dispatch/managers.
  • Basic English proficiency in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
