The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing evidence-based practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating evidence-based practices and patient preferences.
- Monitor patients' responses to treatment, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Shasta Regional Medical Center offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $XX.00 to $XX.00. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
