We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team at ProSmile. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting the needs of our dental professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist dentists and hygienists in rendering patient care, including chairside support and instrument handling.
- Maintain inventory control and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Deliver exceptional patient interactions, including scheduling, follow-up treatment, and post-surgical information.
- Perform basic lab procedures, such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs.
- Maintain public area appearance and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Easily able to learn new technologies and systems required.
- Applicable licensing required for the state in which you will work (DRT license or willing to pursue licensure immediately).
- Certified Dental Assistant certificate preferred.
- 1+ years work experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Requires some flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed.
