Position Summary
As a Powder Coating Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production team, ensuring that metal components receive high-quality finishes. This position requires you to hang metal items on an automated paint line, followed by inspecting and packaging the finished products.
Work Schedule
1st shift: 4:30 AM - 1 PM, Monday to Friday or 6:30 AM - 3 PM, Monday to Friday
Compensation
Hourly wage: $18
Key Responsibilities
- Properly hang metal products on overhead hooks to guarantee an even application of paint.
- Carefully remove painted items from the overhead system and package them to avoid damage.
- Conduct weekly maintenance of the workspace, including cleaning and organizing equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards while working in a dynamic environment.
- Effective collaboration skills to work with team members towards achieving departmental objectives.
