Job Summary

Classroom Instructor

Job Duties

Teach and mentor students in electronic technology courses, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Required Qualifications

1. Associate's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or related field.

2. Five (5) years of relevant industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering Technology, or related field.

2. Two (2) years of teaching experience.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on complex topics.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with nonverbal symbolism in its most difficult phases. Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.

Work Environment

The work environment is a laboratory setting, requiring the ability to follow safety rules and regulations, operate laboratory equipment, and tolerate the presence of laboratory chemicals. The noise level is moderate.
