Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team at Walmart. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Pharmaceutical Care: Process and accurately dispense prescription orders, counsel customers regarding health care and prescription medication needs, and maintain confidential information.
  • Model and Enforce Customer Service Standards: Provide direction and guidance to associates on proper customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure Compliance: Analyze and interpret reports, implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls, oversee safety, operational, and quality assurance reviews, develop and implement action plans, and provide direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain Confidential Information: Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • License: Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Training: Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
