Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist for our client in Dixon, IL. As a Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for operating a manual and CNC controlled press brake to bend, shape, cut and manipulate sheet metal and metal plates.

**Responsibilities**
  • Operate a press brake to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
  • Prepare, set up, and adjust the press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
  • Measure and align materials to be used.
  • Inspect products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
  • Operate overhead cranes.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
  • Basic computer and math skills.

**Requirements and Qualifications**
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Related experience or completed training.
  • Advanced computer skills specifically Microsoft products.
  • Trade School Certification preferred.
  • Similar or related product knowledge.
  • Experience in a production environment.

**Compensation**

The estimated salary for this role is $15-$18+/hour based on experience.
