Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) doctoral degree.
  • Current Registered Nurse Indiana license.
  • Advanced practice licensure.
  • Certified as a nurse practitioner by a recognized national certifying body.
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or practice setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR Certification, current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, and Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
  • Experience with patient education and health promotion.
Working Conditions

Typical office environment within a physician office practice with risk of exposure to blood, body fluid, or other potentially infectious materials.

May be at risk for electrical hazards or hazardous materials.

Works with protected health information.

May work extended hours or weekends based on the needs of the department.
