Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Synerfac in Mars, PA. This is a 1st shift position, working from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime as needed. The ideal candidate will be a reliable employee with a strong attendance record.

Job Duties
  • Tear out refractory materials using a jackhammer.
  • Sandblast various parts to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Mix, pour, and finish refractory into various shaped components.
Job Requirements
  • Previous experience with refractory or forming and pouring concrete is required.
  • Must be able to remove worn refractory materials using a jackhammer or other suitable means.
  • Install forms into various shaped components, ensuring correct installation per standard practice and drawings.
  • Mix and pour refractory into various shaped components.
  • Sandblast various components as needed.
  • Must pass a medical screening and fit test for respirator use.
  • Forklift, overhead crane, and various hand tool use are a plus.
  • Must pass a drug test, physical, and background check.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
