Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and delegate nursing activities to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Evaluate the performance of the nursing department and recommend improvements to enhance patient outcomes.
  • Conduct regular patient rounds to address concerns and provide support.
  • Train and mentor nursing staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional care.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in long-term care, preferably as an Assistant Director of Nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois and in good standing.
  • Familiarity with medical software and equipment, including PointClickCare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with patients, families, and staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to drive quality improvement initiatives.
