Position Overview
This role offers a unique opportunity to enhance your pharmaceutical expertise under the mentorship of a licensed pharmacist while delivering critical services to our patients in a closed-door pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Prepare and manage Pharmacy Technician schedules to align with pharmacy demands.
- Accurately fill prescription orders in compliance with state regulations, ensuring high standards of productivity and precision.
- Oversee inventory management, including monitoring medication levels and identifying expired products to maintain pharmacy standards.
- Input patient information and medication orders into the pharmacy system for label generation.
- Prepare and package IV medications, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Maintain facility-based medication dispensing systems, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
