**About the Role**

We are seeking a talented and experienced Immigration Law Project Attorney to join our team at the Los Angeles LGBT Center. As an Immigration Law Project Attorney, you will play a vital role in providing legal services to LGBTQ+ immigrant survivors of violence, helping them navigate complex immigration systems and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a significant immigration client caseload, providing direct legal services to LGBTQ+ immigrant survivors of violence
  • Collaborate with Survivor Services staff and other community partners to deliver holistic and trauma-informed care
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations affecting LGBTQ+ immigrants, including changes to immigration policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in trauma-informed care and immigration law

**Requirements**

  • Active membership in California State Bar or another state bar
  • Verbal and written fluency in Spanish and English
  • 3 years of experience with managing an immigration removal defense client caseload, including substantial litigation experience
  • 3 years of experience in a non-profit setting, providing trauma-informed direct legal services to members of LGBTQI+ BIPOC communities
