As a pharmacy technician, you will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations. You will also be responsible for using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.

We are looking for individuals who are fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English, and who have a strong desire to provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and develop strong relationships with patients.
  • Assist with inventory management activities, such as ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of pharmaceuticals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Requirements:
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
  • Prefer good math skills to fill prescriptions accurately.
  • Prefer good computer skills.
  • Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Prefer PTCB certification.
