About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team at West Virginia University Health System. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the education and training of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Practice surgery in Berkeley and Jefferson Counties, WV
  • Provide excellent patient care and manage surgical cases
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
  • State medical license and DEA registration
  • Completed Surgical residency program
  • Board certification / eligibility in Surgery
